The Alliance has released valuable new resources just in time for flu season. 

• A fact sheet on preventive services available through Medicare—including the Annual Wellness visit, the Welcome to Medicare Visit, and recommended vaccines. See it here

• A “truth teller” fact sheet that shares the facts about vaccines. Get it here.

•  A quick guide to the recommended vaccine schedule for older adults. See it here. It is also newly available in Spanish.

• The Alliance's “pocket film” released in 2016 that gives an accessible and compelling overview of vaccines and older adults is now available in Spanish for both viewing online and download.  The English version can be watched below. It is can also be downloaded with captions and without captions.

Vaccine-preventable diseases cause significant illness, hospitalization, pain, disability, and death in the United States, particularly when it comes to older adults. Older adults are disproportionately affected by these diseases.
