Coalition Against Major Diseases

The Coalition Against Major Diseases' (CAMD) focus is to develop new tools and methods that can be applied during the development of new treatments for these diseases that have remained beyond the reach of drug discovery and continue to result in added costs for treatment, chronic suffering, and the loss of lives. CAMD fosters innovative testing methods that lead to increased efficiency, safety, and speed in developing new therapies, through facilitating collaboration among scientists from the biopharmaceutical industry, academic institutions, government agencies, patient groups, and other key stakeholders.
