National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Partnership

The Alliance is one of 57 organizations working to increase awareness of colorectal cancer among Americans in order to better prevent and treat the disease.

One Voice Against Cancer

One Voice Against Cancer is a collaboration of national non-profit organizations representing millions of Americans. Participating organizations deliver a unified message to Congress and the White House on the need for increased cancer-related funding of research.

Osteoartritis Action Alliance

The Osteoarthritis (OA) Action Alliance is a national coalition of concerned organizations mobilized by the Arthritis Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This coalition is committed to elevating OA as a national health priority and promoting effective policy solutions that aim to address the individual and national toll of OA. In addition, the OA Action Alliance, with the public health community, is working to ensure people with OA have the access, skills and capacity to benefit from effective and proven interventions.

Partnership for Essential Nutrition

The partnership is a broad-based group of non-profit consumer, nutrition, and public health organizations formed in 2004 to promote programs, policies, and research that will advance public understanding about the essentials of a nutritionally balanced diet for weigth loss and health.

Partnership for the Future of Medicare

The Partnership for the Future of Medicare is a bi-partisan organization focused on ensuring the long-term security of Medicare. By examining key challenges, highlighting best practices, and evaluating innovations in Medicare health care delivery the Partnership seeks to foster innovation and support approaches that positively shape the future of Medicare. As the debate over Medicare's future continues, the Partnership will play an active role in proposing enhancements to help modernize the program and deliver better care to beneficiaries.

Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease

A broad group of patients, providers, community organizations, business and labor groups, and health policy experts joined together to form the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease - a national, bi-partisan coalition committed to raising awareness of the policies and practices that save lives and reduce health costs through more effective prevention and management of chronic disease.

Partnership to Improve Patient Care

The Partnership to Improve Patient Care was formed in November 2008 to ensure that proposals to expand the government's role in comparative effectiveness research (CER) are centered on patient and provider needs; raise awareness about the value of well-designed CER; and promote the important role of continued medical innovation as part of the solution to cost and quality challenges in health care.

Personalized Medicine Coalition

The Personalized Medicine Coalition is an independent, non-profit group that works to advance the understanding and adoption of personalized medicine for the ultimate benefit of patients. Diverse members work together to educate opinion leaders and the public about the issues that will shape how personalized medicine develops--and how quickly all of us can benefit from it.

Regulatory Education and Action for Patients (REAP)

REAP is an umbrella coalition comprised of 52 patient advocacy groups whose mission is to communicate the challenges patients face in accessing care to Federal and State policymakers. REAP’s collective voice assures a wide range of patient concerns are considered in policy development to maximize care access and improved outcomes as well as minimize unintended consequences upon implementation. REAP, through its member entities, contributes information and perspectives regarding important health care decisions to a degree that has not been possible heretofore by health care advocacy groups in the regulatory arena.

SOS Rx

SOSRx is a collaborative coalition convened by the National Consumers League in order to promote outpatient medication safety. SOSRx focuses on campaign-style education/information initiatives aimed at securing consumer actions and system changes that enhance the safe outpatient use of medications. Participating organizations signify support and commitment to work together to assure the safe outpatient use of medications for all consumers and patients, with initial focus on safe use by senior citizens.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Coalition

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Coalition is comprised of organizations passionate about preventing sudden cardiac arrest deaths through legislative initiatives that lead to greater public awareness, research and access to life-saving therapies. The SCA Coalition is focused on national issues that have the opportunity to influence Congress, the Administration, other policymakers, the media, health care providers, and the public.

You Can! Steps to Healthier Aging

You Can! is the aging component of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Servicse' Steps to a HealthierUS initiative, which encourages Americans of every age to make healthier choices for physical activity and exercise.
