Women's Health
If you are like most women, your own health tends to be put on the bottom of your “to do” list. There are probably other people in your life that you want/need to take care of first. The Alliance has created many simple tools to help women like you take control of your own health. These tools include a guide to help caregivers fit their own health appointments in their busy schedule, as well as prevention and early detection information on diseases such as osteoporosis, heart disease and breast cancer. By putting some simple tips into practice, you may find it easier than you think to take care of your health while also taking care of everyone else!

In order to educate women recently diagnosed or at risk for osteoporosis about the disease, the Alliance for Aging Research created this workshop kit. This translated kit assists community and health groups in hosting workshops that teach Spanish-speaking women how to best manage their prevention and/or treatment, and empower them to communicate with their doctor.
