Today we have announced the launch of our new Living with Valve Disease website, an online resource hub where people can gather to learn and share about heart valve disease. You can visit the new website here.

This site was made possible through the generosity of Every Heartbeat Matters, an initiative of the Edwards Lifesciences Foundation. Every Heartbeat Matters seeks to reduce the global burden of heart valve disease by supporting the education, screening, and treatment of one million underserved people by 2020.

Launched in 2013, Every Heartbeat Matters has already made a global impact through programs such as medical training for clinicians, treatment programs for those who do not have access to advanced care, and educational initiatives like our new website.

It is our hope that this website will help Every Heartbeat Matters reach its 2020 goal. The site puts an emphasis on educating underserved older adults about valve disease with both original and aggregated content from a host of reliable sources.  It includes articles, podcasts, videos, and the stories of valve disease patients.

We invite you to join us in letting others know about the new resource. Everything is free, and we will continue to add more resources and patient stories as the months go by.

We are proud to be partnering with Every Heartbeat Matters and join with them in putting our “heart” into helping them reach those underserved valve disease patients.
