May is finally here, which means we can start celebrating Older Americans Month! This is a time to recognize older Americans for their many contributions, and we’re so excited to take part in honoring outstanding older adults this year.

This year the theme for Older Americans Month is "Age Out Loud," which is designed to give a new voice to aging and highlight what older adults have to say. We'll be celebrating this theme by posting new stories on inspiring older adults for our Aging in the 21st Century series. We encourage you to check out our previous stories that feature a champion swimmer, a foster grandparent, and an older adult who is redefining retirement.

This month includes great events that are related to geriatric health, and we want to share a couple of them. Find more information below.
