For our Health Resource of the Week, we’re sharing a video that highlights the risk factors and treatment options for venous thromboembolism, or VTE, which includes deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. VTE affects approximately 600,000 Americans every year, and most cases are related to hospitalization. But VTE can also affect non-hospitalized people based on numerous risk factors. This video highlights the causes and risk factors for VTE, as well as treatment options.

Visit our health resource page for more information on VTE.
