Last month we launched a website dedicated to heart valve disease education called Living with Valve Disease. An important part of that site is to share the real-life stories of people who have lived with that condition.

In putting together the website, we partnered with Adam Pick, a nationally known advocate for valve disease awareness and founder of HeartValveSurgery.com, to tell the stories of two such patients: Linda Kincaid and Nina Bamford. Pick, a former valve disease patient himself, has a real passion for those with this condition. Through his site, he has helped thousands of patients around the world.

That’s why we are pleased to share this announcement below from Adam about the launch of his “Patient Success Week.” Every day on his site this week, he’ll be sharing an inspiring story of a heart valve disease patient (including the story of our own Linda Kincaid). His goal is to reach 1,000,000 people by week’s end. Watch the video below for more info. And we encourage you to like his Facebook page and share the stories with others!
