October 28, 2014   |   Alliance for Aging Research Team   |   Other Policy Priorities

We wanted to share info about a conference that happens this Thursday, October 30, in Washington, D.C. It’s called: “Mind the Gap: Improving Quality Measurement in Acccountable Care Systems.” Here’s more from one of the conference’s sponsors: the National Pharmaceutical Council.

“In this time of significant, perhaps even historic, change for the Medicare program, there is an upcoming conference that warrants special attention. The National Pharmaceutical Council, National Health Council and the Pharmacy Quality Alliance are cosponsoring a forum to examine the quality measures used to evaluate the efficacy and patient impact of new healthcare payment models like Accountable Care Organizations.” For more information, please check out this link.
