May Events for Older Americans Month

May 4, 2016   |   Alliance for Aging Research Team   |   Healthy Aging, Aging Research, Diabetes, National Institutes Of Health, Nutrition
Thumbtack on date May 1st on calendar.

It’s May, and it’s time once again for Older Americans Month, where we recognize older Americans for their contributions to the nation.

Recognizing older adults is one of our favorite things to do at the Alliance. In fact, we are doing a whole series of stories throughout the year about older adults, including a champion swimmer, a woman who encourages you to embrace life no matter what age you are, and more to come.

As we celebrate Older Americans Month, there are a few events taking place that we’d like to share with you related to older adult health. Please find descriptions of each below.
