Alliance Leads 70 Supporting Lawsuit to Overturn Recent Changes to Childhood Immunization Schedule
Published February 12, 2026

More than 70 organizations signed on to a press statement released today that supports the plaintiffs in American Academy of Pediatrics et al. v. Kennedy et al., a legal case that will decide the future of U.S. vaccine policy. The list of sign-on organizations is listed below.
The statement of support backs the lawsuit’s request to halt the upcoming February 25-27 ACIP meeting and overturn recent changes to the childhood immunization schedule. The statement also supports the suit’s argument that the HHS Secretary unlawfully appointed ACIP members based on political affiliation, rather than merit, and bypassed established scientific review processes. Read more information on the case.
Regardless of the outcome of the trial on the merits, the case is expected to be appealed, potentially reaching the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals or even the Supreme Court.
The hearing on Plaintiff’s Motion for a Preliminary Injunction will be held in Boston at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Friday, February 13, 2026.
