As 2019 winds down, all of us at the Alliance for Aging Research are taking time to reflect. This clip from our Heroes in Health awardee, author and advocate Beverlye Hyman Fead, sums it up nicely:
Older adults are important assets to the community, but unfortunately, our nation’s health, social, and economic policies too often do not reflect that belief. It will take support from heroes like you to collectively recognize each other’s infinite dignity and value, and ignite transformation.
