2019 Claude Pepper Award for Advancing Healthy Aging

The Alliance for Aging Research held the 2019 Annual Bipartisan Congressional Awards Dinner on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the United States Institute of Peace.

The Claude Pepper Award for Advancing Healthy Aging is presented each year to a Democratic member of Congress who is leading the way for policies encouraging medical research, innovation, and care to benefit Americans as they grow older. This year’s honoree is Congressman James E. Clyburn.

Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge accepted the Claude Pepper Award for Advancing Healthy Aging on behalf of Congressman Clyburn.
