Survey Release Webcast: Valve Disease Awareness & the Patient Experience
On August 31, the Alliance for Aging Research held a webcast to discuss new survey results on valve disease awareness in the U.S. and on the experiences of valve disease patients as they are diagnosed and seek treatment. The Alliance also announced a campaign to designate February 22 as National Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day. Speakers included: Susan Peschin, MHS, president & CEO, Alliance for Aging Research; Nancy Belden, MA, partner, Belden Russonello Strategists; and Susan Strong, AHA Heart Valve Ambassador.
