Alliance Releases 2023 Impact Report

The Alliance for Aging Research released its 2023 Impact Report, “Changing the Narrative to Achieve Healthy Aging and Equitable Access.”
The accomplishments outlined here would not be possible without the steadfast work of staff, support from the Board of Directors, strategic partnerships with advocacy groups and industry leaders, and thoughtful leadership.
In 2023, the Alliance set a fundraising record at the 30th Anniversary Heroes in Health event. Efforts were laser-focused on equitable access to care — so much so that the Alliance’s Mission and Vision was updated to reflect this work.
The Alliance addressed the intricacies of the unintended consequences of the Inflation Reduction Act, rallied for access to therapies to improve quality of life for those with Alzheimer’s, produced videos to help shake the stigma of neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia, raised awareness of Heart Valve Disease, and urged older adults to stay up-to-date on recommended vaccines, among so many other initiatives.
