In a formal announcement made this week, Markus expressed optimism thanks to collaboration with other organizations. "In the era of misinformation about medical science and our nation’s federal health agencies, the Alliance’s work is more important than ever to cut through the noise and serve as a reliable voice on health information and public policy."

61 Organizations Provide Feedback on Patient-Centered Medicare Prescription Payment Plan
The Alliance, along with 60 organizations have responded to the CMS' recent guidance on the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MP3), encouraging CMS to finalize and incorporate patient protections, engage beneficiaries & stakeholder groups, and more.
Though, the MP3 will provide flexibility to beneficiaries, significant work remains to ensure beneficiaries are able to activate the flexibility when they need to do so, and to educate the public about the availability of the MP3 starting in 2025 and how to enroll.
