On February 22, organizations, advocates, and individuals around the world will mark Heart Valve Disease Day, aiming to enhance awareness, detect risks, and improve access to treatment, ultimately saving lives.

Alliance Comment to Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services

On January 22, Alliance President & CEO Sue Peschin called out Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for failing to address Medicare access to Leqembi at the U.S. Department of Health & Human (HHS) Services winter 2024 meeting of the Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services.

The Alliance continues to push back on CMS’ unprecedented restrictions on Alzheimer’s treatments – a practice that undermines the FDA’s authority as the nation’s real biomedical agency.
