Join the Alliance for Aging Research for a Congressional Briefing on Capitol Hill that addresses the occurrence and impact of delirium developed in a hospital setting on our aging population. Experts in the field of aging will provide an overview of post-operative delirium and post-ICU delirium, discuss the toll they exact on older patients, and explore what can be done through policy to improve the lives of the many individuals who suffer from these conditions each day.
This briefing is the second in the three part "Diseases in the Shadows III" series focusing on dangerous, yet elusive health conditions that afflict millions of older Americans.
