Alliance Educational Films Awarded Two Silver Telly Awards

May 29, 2024   |   Katrin Werner-Perez   |   Who We Are, Blog

We are thrilled to announce that the Alliance for Aging Research has received two Telly Awards for our educational videos. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV): Not Just a Little Kids’ Virus and Shingles: What You Need to Know to Avoid a World of Pain, produced in 2023, were each awarded a Silver Telly. This is the 8th year the Alliance has been awarded a Telly for our impactful films.

At a time when misinformation and disinformation is prevalent, creating educational content is more important than ever. Our films play an important role in providing reliable, evidence-based information to older adults. These awards serve as recognition of the significance of this work, highlighting our commitment to promoting truth and accessibility in health education.

For nearly 20 years, the Alliance has been dedicated to creating educational films that make complex health topics more understandable for older adults. Our mission is to provide accurate and accessible information, empowering people to make informed and confident decisions about their healthcare.

Our impact is considerable, reaching millions of individuals through a variety of channels like social media, TV public service announcements (PSAs), digital advertising, and streaming in hospitals and healthcare offices. Our content covers crucial topics that older adults face, such as sepsis, vaccination, nutrition, sarcopenia, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and stroke prevention, among others.

We are deeply grateful for the continued recognition by the prestigious Telly Awards. Established in 1979, the Telly Awards celebrate excellence in television and video across all screens. Each year, they receive thousands of entries from all over the world. Winning a Telly Award signifies that our work is among the best, recognized by leading advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers worldwide.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us. Your encouragement and support make our success possible!
