Alliance Vice President of Public Policy Cynthia Bens took part in two important meetings at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration this week. The first was on July 13 regarding reauthorization of the Medical Device User Fee Act (MDUFA) followed by a July 15 meeting focused on reauthorization of the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA). Bens offered comments from the patient and consumer advocate perspectives at the MDUFA meeting and the patient advocate perspective at the PDUFA meeting.
