This film, produced by the Alliance for Aging Research, was developed to educate press, policymakers, disease-specific organizations, the scientific community and the public about the potential impact of geroscience—highlighting its benefits for public health and the social and economic benefits that would flow due to healthier, more self-reliant older adults. The goal is to stimulate broad support for advances in U.S. science that foster optimal progress in our fight against preventable disease and disease-related disability across the lifespan. The film includes interviews with the leading experts in the fields of aging research, demography, geriatrics, and advocacy and will be made available for free download and use.
